Canadian Nazis Interned.
OTTAWA, Friday.–The internment of 11 members of the outlawed National Unity party, including the “fuhrer,” Adrien Arcand, has been ordered to-day. Mr. Lapointe, the Minister of Justice, announced in the House of Commons.
The men were tried at Montreal on charges under the Defence Regulations, but the judge on hearing evidence reported that there was a plot against the safety of the State, the accused having been in communication with the King’s enemies in Germany and Italy.– Exchange.
